League of Legends was officially launched in both North America and Europe. The game featured 40 playable champions, automated matchmaking on Summoners Rift, and a basic tutorial on the Proving Grounds to introduce new players to the game. The Twisted Treeline – League of Legends premier 3v3 map – was available for play in custom games.
